Hello there. I guess you came here to learn more about me? I will most likely talk about some random things and my interests, so here we go :)
My name is Marissa. I was born on September 11 somewhere up North in the United States of America. I recently moved to a little town which I am not fully accustomed to yet. See, I used to live in a semi-large town where everything was in reach: stores, libraries, etc. All I see is land now. I will probably get used to it at some point, but I will always and forever be a city girl. I am currently a junior in high school. I love the drama department. While some play sports, I act. I really think it is my passion. I love being able to transform into a different person. I would love to be an actor someday, but for now, I want to focus on going to a fabulous university such as the University of Southern California and majoring in journalism. That's right. I want to be a writer. Some say I'm crazy, but I really do think I have the talent to become one :)
I believe that this person deserves his own section. His name happens to be David Archuleta: the amazing and talented singer. If you don't know him, I can't speak to you. Haha. Totally kidding. But seriously, you don't know what your missing. Anyways, he was a contestant off of American Idol Season 7. He was runner up, but from all of his success, I think he won. From his first album titled non other than "David Archuleta," his first single "Crush" reached number 1 on Itunes in a matter of hours. Yes, hours. He toured with Demi Lovato in the summer of 2009. I attended the July 31, 2009 show which will always be titled in my books as "the best night of my life". He smilied at me during his performance of "Don't Let Go". He looked my way, I smiled, and then he smiled back at me :) Seeing him in concert made me like him even more. David Archuleta is amazing. Everything he does, whether it be signing autographs for a girl who was turned away by a body guard or donating his own bracelet and shirt for the Bonnie Hunt show, is perfect. And did I mention he is gorgeous!? Well, he is! On October 13th, 2009, "Christmas From The Heart" was released! PAT-A-PAN! MELODIES OF CHRISTMAS! And to support his fabulous Christmas album, he went on a winter tour. I went to the November 27th, 2009 show in Ann Arbor with 4th row tickets! If that show didn't kill me, I don't think anything ever will. That concert was amazing! He looked and smiled at me so many times; I lost count! Before one of his songs, he looked my way and started to wave. For a nano second, I was so jealous thinking about who he was waving too, but then I realized that he was waving AT ME! So, I waved at back, and he smiled AT ME! Then, everyone in my row turned to stare at me because, yes, DAVID ARCHULETA WAVED AT ME! Oh, and then during Crush, he stared at me for a good 10 seconds and then proceeded to smile afterwards. BEST.NIGHT.EVER.
Besides watching American Idol, my other guilty pleasures are House, Gossip Girl, Secret Life, Make It Or Break It, and Ten Things I Hate About You. I couldn't live without music. Music is a huge part of my life. I listen to a little bit of everything: pop, rock, R&B, and alternative. Some of my favorite bands are: The Cab, The Script, Parachute, Boyce Avenue, Boys Like Girls and All Time Low. I even enjoy listening to some Disney stars such as Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, and Selena Gomez. I also love Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Black Eyed Peas, KSM, Pitbull, Kristinia DeBarge, Ke$ha, Cobra Starship, Jessie James, Pushplay, Paramore, Kris Allen, and of course David Archuleta.
Likes: the number 11, Twilight, Vitamin Water, M&M's, Shopping, Sweatpants, Magazines, Ipod, Summer, Christmas, Tuesdays, and Searching for new music.
Dislikes: Liars, Cheaters, Stealers, Heavy Metal Music, Screaming, Rap, Canceling Plans, People who keep texting you if you don't answer, Math, The Cold, Being Sick
