The Script
Grade: A+
Release Date: September 5, 2008
Summary:
This is the self-titled debut album from The Script. I was actually introduced to this band from David Archuleta. He usually posts a song of the day in his written blogs, and in one of those, David mentioned "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" which is the first single from the album. I fell in love with this song, so I got the album, and it ended up being one of my favorites. Every song on the album has a meaning to it such as "We Cry." This songs talks about the tough times that people go through which makes this song relatable. Another song I love is "Breakeven" which talks about a heart that is broken, but it "breaks" unevenly. If I had to choose a song that I don't really like, I would have to say "If You See Kay" just because it doesn't sound right to me. Every other song of the album is amazing though. Check out the album today :)
Standouts:
We Cry
Before The Worst
