Need You Now
Grade: A
Release Date: January 26, 2010
Summary:
Need You Now is the second studio album of Lady Antebellum. This album sky-rocketed to number one on the Billboard charts to say the least. The first single, "Need You Now," taken from the album serves as a crossover from country to pop, much of what Taylor Swift's songs often do. It's no wonder "Need You Now" plays on many radio stations; this song is absolutely incredible. If you have ever gone though a serious breakup, this song might pretty much describe what you are feeling. There are also a couple of other songs that I found interesting. Songs such as "Hello World" and "Ready to Love Again" to name a few caught my attention. "Hello World" is a slow song until you get to the end when the tempo speeds up a bit. I really have no idea what drew me to this song, but I can't stop listening to it. "Ready to Love Again" is also one of those songs about going through a breakup; it's much like "Need You Now," but this particular song has its own spin to it. One of the other songs I really enjoy listening to is "Perfect Day." This song serves as one of the faster songs on the album; it would be perfect for listening to in the car with your windows rolled down. Despite the fact many of the songs have a heavy country feel to them, I would highly suggest you listen to this album. If your not a major country fan, just know that I wasn't either until I listened to "Need You Now."
