Lines, Vines, and Trying Times
Grade: B
Release Date: June 16, 2009
Summary:
All I can say is expect some changes. The Jonas Brothers album, Lines, Vines, and Trying Times, is much different from their previous albums. They even collaborated with other artists on this album such as Common and Miley Cyrus. I bet you are thinking "WHAT? Miley?" That's exactly what I thought. Miley and Nick sing "Before the Storm" which seems to me like their love story. The song is actually one of my favorites on the album. The song has a different sound that I can't really put my finger on. "Fly With Me" is also a good song; one of my favorites as well. Two songs completely annoy me though. They are "Don't Charge Me For The Crime" featuring Common and "Poison Ivy". "Don't Charge Me For The Crime" is different, but I don't like the beginning with Common very much. The song "Poison Ivy" is annoying. I mean they talk about going to the doctors and everyone getting poison ivy. I just didn't like it. Some songs are good; others are not. I'm not a huge Jonas Brothers fan, but its a decent album. Check it out.
