Kiss & Tell
Grade: A
Release Date: September 29, 2009
Summary:
Selena Gomez and The Scene's first album can be described in one word: surprising. This album is amazing. I actually couldn't believe how good it was. When the first single, "Falling Down", premiered, I fell in love with the song right away. Much like the other songs on the album, this song has a great beat as well as an amazing theme. Beware: these songs are very catchy. "I Won't Apologize" is about a girl who changes herself for a guy, but she discovers it isn't worth it in the end. "Naturally" is probably one of my favorites off the album. Not only does this song have a great beat, but is has a great message. It explains love and how it comes when it is meant to be. It's such a beautiful song. Another one of my favorites is "More". This song is about having fun and getting what you want. "As A Blonde" is more of a pop/rock song. In some parts, she sounds like Paramore a bit. You'll just have to decide that for yourselves. Even the new version of "Tell Me Something I Don't Know" from Another Cinderella Story is amazing; it has such an amazing beat. Just like any other album, there is a song which I am not a fan of. "I Promise You" has a good theme, but there isn't really anything exciting about it. Other than that, the album is amazing; its an album that I listen to everyday that gets me ready for my day. Be sure to check it out!
