Christmas From The Heart

Grade: A+

Release Date: October 13, 2009

Summary:
David Archuleta released a Christmas album titled "Christmas From The Heart" on October 13, 2009. This album is amazing! Words can't even describe what emotions run through my mind while I'm listening to these songs. His voice is pure gold. Not one fault in his voice in any song. He sings in 4 different languages: English, Spanish, Latin, and French! Have you ever heard of someone who sang in 4 different languages on their album? I don't think so! Many people have said that this album is split up in three different parts: 1st-traditional songs, 2nd-pop songs, and 3rd-multi genre songs. The first couple of songs including "Joy To The Word" and "Angels We Have Heard On High" are great! They really show off David's vocals that we all know he has. "Silent Night" and "The First Noel" are also great songs because of the music behind the lyrics. It's really cool how this album has different mixes and background music to each song. This is what makes this album so unique. Another thing that makes this album unique is the fact that he does songs that are not very well known such as "Pat-A-Pan" and "Riu Riu Chiu". In "Pat-A-Pan", he sings in French for the first part of the song! This song has such a great beat. This is the type of song that you want to get up and dance to even if it is a Christmas song. I have to say this is my favorite song off the album. I can't even tell you how much I have listened to this song. The ending is also amazing because it adds in David's voice twice, and the effects added to it are great! Then, the last song on the album, "Melodies Of Christmas", is one of my favorites as well. This song was co-written by David which makes it even better. This song takes in all types of lyrics from different Christmas songs, but the way they are mixed in is just amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if you hear this on a Christmas station near you. This album is stunning! You would totally be missing out if you didn't take a listen to this album, so check it out today!
